| TC21 National Conference |
“Opening doors - Leading on the Equality & Diversity Agenda within Initial Teacher Education” TC21 has organised a one day successful national conference on “Opening doors - Leading on the Equality & Diversity Agenda within Initial Teacher Education” on Thursday 18th November 2010, 9.00- 3.30 Location: Heaton Mount, School of Management, University of Bradford, Keighley, W. Yorkshire BD9 4JU. This was a very well attended conference with excellent speakers

| Equality & Diversity Championship Award, 2007 |
| The project has won the Regional Equality and Championship award 2007. The Regional Equality and Diversity Champions 2007 were awarded by the East Coast Centre for Diversity (representing the Grimsby Institute of Further Education) on behalf of The Yorkshire and Humberside Network for Equality and Diversity, with funding from the Learning Skills Council (LSC). The objective of this award is to recognise excellent work whilst also spreading examples of good practice across the Yorkshire and Humber region in order to inspire and motivate others. |
