| What is teaching all about? |
Education is what gives you the power to make choices about your life.
What teachers do is to introduce children to the range of what the world has to offer.
You will be doing a job that makes all the difference in the world to the children in your care.
The partner institutions in our project offer both undergraduate and postgraduate teacher training courses.
You can train to become a primary or a secondary school teacher.

| Do I have what it takes to become a teacher? |
Above all, teachers need to be able to communicate well with others.
You have to get difficult ideas across simply, to foster enthusiasm and provide inspiration.
You need to be able to listen to your pupils and to support them.
You also need to be able to communicate effectively with parents, involving them in the education of their children.
A big part of being a successful teacher lies in understanding the needs of different children in your care and knowing how to get the best out of all of them.
